NANCY HWANG

Nancy Hwang´s art is often involved with providing the public with such everyday services as exercise training, baking, hair shampooing, and relaxing in a video lounge. Her solo projects include Host, (Project Space Sarubia, Seoul, Korea; and Open ev+a, Limerick Ireland); Platform, (White Columns, New York); and S, (Storefront for Art & Architecture / New York City Parks & Recreation). As a New York based artist, she frequently participates in panels and collaborates with individuals across various art disciplines. Hwang arrives at FREE SHOW fresh from "If You See Some Feet, Say Some Feet," her contribution to The Kitchen High Line Block Party. Hwang is currently planning projects for 2008 at the Kemper Contemporary, Kansas City, MO, and the Contemporary Art Center, New Orleans, Louisiana.
